Cathy Edwards 

Catherine Edwards is a graduate student in the Civic Media program at Emerson College, conducting research to develop strategy for public-access TV stations to integrate new technologies including video games, AR and VR for community expression.

Catherine is the Executive Director of the Canadian Association of Community Television Users and Stations (CACTUS), and has a wealth of experience as a community media practitioner and as an award-winning TV, film and theater director.

She's also the mom of a happy 9-year-old she breast-fed for two-and-a-half years, with occasional assistance from a pump!
